Since 1983, our volunteer-led Saturday Kitchen has served our food-insecure neighbors in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Morningside Heights, and Harlem.

Each week, the Saturday Kitchen provides grab-and-go meals to over 350 guests, twice as many as pre-pandemic, reflecting the growing influx of migrants from Central America and Eastern Europe.

The increasing demand has overwhelmed our antiquated kitchen, pantry and food-storage areas. Our “Doors Wide Open” campaign improved accessibility to our community center. Now, we urgently need donations to build out our facilities for storing, preparing,  and serving food for our neighbors.
