Dear St. Michael’s Family,

This is a season of growth for our church. As we continue emerging from the pandemic, we carry forward with us skills and practices that we lacked before into a world that needs us and our ministries more than ever. With that clearly in our minds, we titled this year’s stewardship campaign, which we kick off this week, “Forward in Grace.”

We engage in an annual stewardship campaign not just as a fundraising effort, but also as a reminder of the church’s need for renewal. When we make our first pledge as members, we accept that we belong to this community, and that it belongs to us; when we renew our pledge, we reaffirm that sense of belonging. Anyone can pledge, in any amount.

Our pledges pay for ministries, not renovations. When you pledge to St. Michael’s, you pledge to our shared worship, our community outreach, and our small groups.

If you have never pledged to St. Michael’s, this is your invitation to join us!

If you are a longtime pledger, please consider increasing the amount of your annual pledge as the church faces the same economic headwinds of inflation and the threat of recession as everyone else. Our ability to nurture and grow our ministries depends entirely on our ability to support them as a community.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. –1 Peter 4:10–11

In Christ,
