A Message from Our Stewardship Co-Chairs
“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit.”
— Jeremiah 17:7-8
Dear St. Michael’s Family,
As a community and as citizens, we enter the final months of 2025 with continuing uncertainty, unsure of what the future will bring for us and our communities.
St. Michael’s remains steadfast in the face of increased turmoil in the world, providing a haven where individuals can receive spiritual nourishment and guidance, equipping them to spread Jesus’s love into the world.
This year we lived up to the theme of our 2025 pledge campaign, “Faith in Action.” We completed our Phase 1 renovations and started the work on our kitchen facilities and office space within the Parish House. Our Saturday Kitchen, ESL Language teams, Homework Help, and other community programs continue to thrive. We’ve added new members. As a congregation, we’ve discerned where we want St. Michael’s to go in the future and just welcomed the Reverend Margaret Rose as our Interim Rector.
As we begin the search for our permanent Rector in earnest, it’s critical to strengthen our foundation, making sure we cultivate strong roots that enable us to continue our healthy growth. That’s why we have named this year’s stewardship campaign “Planting Roots of Resilience.”
Our pledges fuel programs that make St. Michael’s a steady beacon in our neighborhood. Funds will be used for our shared worship, community outreach, children’s and youth programs, pastoral care, music and many more ministries.
Our annual stewardship pledges have remained steady. Despite considerable effort to manage expenses, property insurance, employee benefits and utility costs continue to increase. Your giving will keep St. Michael’s strong through the transitional period and beyond.
We ask:
- If you are a longtime pledger, please consider increasing your pledge.
- If you have never pledged to St. Michael’s, this is your invitation to join us!
Our ability to demonstrate God’s grace by serving each other and our community in action and deeds depends on our collective financial support.
Make your pledge today!
How much should I give?
How much should you give? This table can help you to determine an appropriate pledge amount.
Find your monthly or annual income in the rows on the right and pick a giving percentage using the columns at the top.
For example, if your annual income is $50,000 and you want to give 5%, your annual pledge would be $2500.
Thank you for your support!
