On behalf of St. Michael’s Church, I welcome you to our community.
At St. Michael’s you will meet a diverse, forward-thinking
group of people who are all on a personal and spiritual journey. We
help each other with life’s challenges and discover the role
religion and Jesus play in our lives.
We not only offer rich, meaningful worship to God but also a range
of ministries including our Saturday Kitchen which serves over 200
homeless people every Saturday, adult and children/young adult choirs
and a vibrant Sunday school with over 80 children.
Throughout your journey, I personally hope you find the Episcopal
faith as fulfilling as I do. I hope you will join me in becoming
a disciple of Jesus Christ and be formed in his way of life. For
as I found, a life with Jesus is all the more fulfilling and rewarding.
Whether you are one of our 600 parishioners, are visiting town for
the weekend, just moved to New York City or have been living here
for most of your life - I invite you to visit our Parish on the Upper
West Side of Manhattan – and get connected with our community.
Faithfully,
The Reverend George W. Brandt, Jr.
Rector
